The second European Networking Event “Succeessful R&D in Europe” takes place next year on March 4 2010 at Düsseldorf International Airport. The event has the main objective to generate successful FP 7 proposals (for the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union).

Researchers from universities, companies and research institutions are invited to present project ideas within these topics:
• Information and communication technologies (ICT)
• Nanotechnologies, new materials and production technologies
• Energy
• Life Science

A call for presentations started in November 2009 for participants from North Rhine-Westphalia and the partner regions Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France as well as Poland and Russia.

There will be multiple opportunities to discuss proposals and project ideas during the event with potential partners. The event aims at giving a platform to initiate joint European R&D projects.
