The international partner association, TII, has been delivering each September for the past 8 years its internationally acclaimed one-week skills development course for the technology transfer and innovation support professions. It is distinct from other more academic courses in that it is delivered by expert practitioners, who, through a balanced mix of theory and practical exercises, transmit their methods and tools which have been acquired through hard-won experience.

From 7 to 11 September 2009, in Ljubljana, this year’s TII summer school will focus on the following themes:
- negotiation skills and the art of reaching agreement
- interactive ideation for problem-solving and business development
- assessing the commercial potential of early-stage technologies
- the entrepreneurial university: finding the need, funding the support, creating the tools and educating the staff and students
- access to finance and introduction to risk capital and early-stage financing – investment readiness

The special rate of EUR 990 for the five day course (this includes tuition, materials, refreshments and lunch on each day) may be offered.
