The world of invention is waiting excitedly for the start of this year's iENA “Ideas-Inventions-Products”, because it will be the event at which around 700 inventions from 29 countries will be presented to the public for the very first time; 700 inventions will be celebrating their world premiere at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. On the first two days, the fair will be open to trade visitors only, while on the weekend of November 1-2, the general public will get a chance to view the latest inventions, thus giving exhibitors their first taste of feedback as to how consumers feel about their ideas.

The great international emphasis of the fair is underlined once more by the great number of joint national stands. The largest collective stand is from Russia, followed by stands from Taiwan and Malaysia. Other joint stands will be from Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Korea, Croatia, Kuwait, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, and Macedonia.

The range of inventions presented here stretches from clever ideas and low-tech solutions for everyday use to genuine high-tech innovations. Inventions will be presented across a broad range of fields, including mechanical engineering, power engineering, building and construction, leisure, hobbies, sports, automotive engineering and accessories, medical engineering, medicine and cosmetics, environmental protection, communications engineering, chemistry, advertising and graphic design, and agriculture.

Throughout its 60-year history, the iENA has functioned as a spring-board into the market for many inventions and new products; indeed, many innovations that were first presented to the general public at the iENA Nuremberg subsequently went on to become marketing success stories. Inline skates, wheeled suitcases and folding bicycles are just a few examples of inventions that were first unveiled at the iENA Nurernberg.

You will find new ideas at the iENA for your product portfolio and be able to immediately begin on-thespot negotiations with inventors. In addition to inventors, qualified specialist representatives of national and international trade associations will be available as well as the International Patent Information Center.
