The Swedish Institute Visby Programme is pleased to offer scholarships for the year 2014/2015 for highly qualified students and researchers from Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.

  In the search for scholarship candidates, the Swedish Institute looks to attract young talented professionals equipped with creativity, curiosity and motivation, who also show expertise and excellence in their academic fields. The Swedish Institute intends to build a strong network of global talents, willing to contribute and take an active role in the development of leader¬ship for a sustainable future.

  The program is targeted at candidates from the following countries: Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. Its main objective is to strengthen cooperation and network building between those countries and Sweden in the fields of higher education and research.

  The scholarship amounts to SEK 15,000 per month for PhD students and SEK 18,000 per month for postdoctoral researchers and senior scientists. The scholarship cannot be prolonged or extended.
