On 29-30 April 2009, in Brno (Czech Republic) the ICT Information Day & Brokerage Event 2009 will take place. It is a partnering event in the field of Information and Communication Technologies of the 7th Framework Programme and an accompanying event of the conference Research Connection 2009.
The event is jointly organized by Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, South Moravian Innovation Centre, Regional Chamber of Commerce Brno, Transport Research Centre and FIRST Innovation Park.

ICT Brokerage Event aims to mobilize key research actors and companies from all over Europe, in particular from neighbouring regions, to collaborate and establish partnerships in ICT research and development. This partnering event is organized in collaboration with the European Commission, DG INFSO and invited EU project coordinators.

The event is focused on the following challenges of the FP7 ICT Work Programme 2009:
• Pervasive and trusted network and service infrastructure
• Cognitive systems, interaction and robotics
• Components, systems and engineering
• Digital libraries and content
• Towards sustainable and personalised healthcare
• ICT for mobility, environmental sustainability and energy efficiency
