Russian Foundation for Assistance to Innovations starts the call for proposals in the framework of collaboration with the EU M-ERA Programme. The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for low carbon energy technologies, future batteries technology and related production technologies. M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the contribution of materials R&D to energy-related applications where applicable.
Countries/regions participating in the call:Austria, Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders), Bulgaria, Brazil (San Paulo). Canada (Quebec), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey.
Funding within 15 mln Rb (necessary co-funding is to be not less than 30% of the grant) is provided for:
- Modelling for materials engineering, processing, properties and durability
- Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
- High performance composites
- Functional materials
- New strategies for advanced material-based technologies for health applications
- Materials for additive manufacturing
Minimum constellation: 2 companies from 2 participating countries/regions.
Deadline: June 28, 2021 (10:00 MSC)
Joint Pre-Proposal is to be submitted to M-ERA before 15 June 2021, 12:00 noon, Brussels time.
